Christmas Tour 2020 Details

Travel on a quality touring coach, transport to and from your door, three-night’s accommodation, evening meals and cooked breakfasts, Christmas lunch

Day 1 – Wed 23rd Dec, Nelson – Christchurch
Tis the season to be jolly as we set off on our Christmas Tour today, starting with a door to door pick up before making our way south to Christchurch. With breaks along the way we head down to the Garden City via Murchison and the Lewis Pass. On arrival into Christchurch we will check in at the Hotel before an enjoying an evening meal together.

Day 2 – Thu 24th Dec, Christchurch
Christmas Eve today and we have a great day out an about in the Canterbury region planned. Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel before we make our way into town for a Tram City Tour. Explore Christchurch Heritage in style with a unique experience of history and sightseeing. The heritage trams are beautifully-restored and are one of the city’s best loved attractions. After a morning of taking in the Christchurch sights we make our way to the beautiful Akaroa for lunch. Originally a French settlement, Akaroa is full of character with one particular place worth visiting being ‘The Giants House’ where we will visit after we’ve had a bite to eat. The surroundings here will uplift your soul. This is an ‘out of this world’ experience’ with many extraordinary features. We will make our way back to Christchurch with dinner being at the Tai Tapu Hotel. “The Tap” as it is known is proud of its history and it’s strong ties to the community of Tai Tapu. Here the hospitality and food is genuine kiwi style. This is a perfect way to finish the day.

Day 3 – Fri 25th Dec, Christchurch
We take a short drive today to Cromwell. This bustling service town has a vibrant, growing economy and is situated on the beautiful Lake Dunstan. Cromwell’s community offers a relaxed atmosphere, with good cafes, a retail centre with most services and facilities available and an aquatic centre. We will stay at ‘The Gate’ – Harvest Hotel which is in the heart of Cromwell and known for its warm and comfortable accommodation.

Day 4 – Sat 26^th Dec, Christchurch – Nelson
As this three night four day Christmas tour comes to an end, we have one last breakfast together before getting back on the road to Nelson. We will stop along the way for breaks and have a door to door drop off on arrival back into Nelson.

Single room supplement: $250.00
Deposit due: 6th November 2020 – $240.00
Final payment due: 11th December 2020

If you have mobility issues that may concern you regarding getting on and off the coach please give us a call and we can discuss this. Please advise us of any special dietary needs. Door-to-door transport may not be available if you live out of the nearby Nelson region. The tour is subject to minimum numbers.
