Christmas Tour 2021 Details

Travel on a quality touring coach, transport to and from your door, five-night’s accommodation, evening meals and cooked breakfasts, Christmas lunch.

Day 1 – Wed 22^nd Dec, Nelson – Hokitika
Tis the season to be jolly as we set off on our Christmas Tour today, starting with a door-to-door pick-up before making our way west to Hokitika. With breaks along the way we head down to the West Coast via Buller Gorge & Reefton. On arrival into Hokitika we will check in at the Hotel before enjoying an evening meal together.

Day 2 – Thu 23^rd Dec, Hokitika – Methven
As we head out of Hokitika, we will be making our way for a visit to Shantytown. There should something of interest for everyone, even if it is a cuppa in the café or some of you might like to have a go at getting a future in gold. Once we leave Shantytown, we will head to Methven for the night, a small town in the Canterbury region. Methven was named after an early Colonial pioneer, Mr Patton, who named it after his home in Scotland. We will check into our accommodation and enjoy a lovely evening meal together.

Day 3 – Fri 24^th Dec, Methven – Mount Cook
Once we have had a good night’s sleep and a great breakfast, we will head off to Mt Cook passing through small townships on our way. On arrival, we will be checking into the Hermitage Hotel during this stay you will be able to unpack and settle in for the two following nights. An evening meal will be at the hotel tonight.

Day 4 – Sat 25^th Dec, Mount Cook
On Christmas Day we start off the day with a cooked breakfast at the hotel. With time to relax and let this settle, We’ll then make our way to the Alpine Restaurant where we you receive a glass of Bubbles as you arrive followed by some great food and entertainment.   After a lovely Buffett lunch, it will be time to relax and enjoy the surroundings that Mt Cook offers.
The evening meal will be at your OWN ARRANGEMENT. There will be a café open if you require something to eat.

Day 5 – Sun 26^th Dec, Mount Cook – Christchurch
After taking in the last looks of the beautiful of Mt Cook and it’s surrounding mounts, you will be able to sit back and enjoy the scenic drive to Christchurch along with a few stops on the way. Tonight, our evening meal will be in the hotel, and sadly, this is our last night together.

Day 6 – Mon 27^th Dec, Christchurch – Nelson
As this five night six day Christmas tour comes to an end, we have one last breakfast together before getting back on the road to Nelson. We will stop along the way for breaks and have a door-to-door drop off
on arriving back into Nelson.

Final payment due: 11th December 2021

If you have mobility issues that may concern you regarding getting on and off the coach please give us a call and we can discuss this. Please advise us of any special dietary needs. Door-to-door transport may not be available if you live out of the nearby Nelson region. The tour is subject to minimum numbers.
