Wednesday 12th January 2022 Trip Details

With the day still long and warm we will venture over to Picton. After having some lunch at any local café or hotel of your choice, we will head to the Picton Heritage and Whaling Museum. This exhibit tells the story of the families who lived here and how Picton came to be. Display includes significant Maori history and artefacts, documentation of maritime activities in the Sounds and a comprehensive display of the history of whaling in the area.
