Wednesday 4th October 2023 Trip Details

Today we will be heading over the Takaka Hill to visit a Trug Maker. Tony learnt Trug making from lifelong friend, neighbour and mentor Brett Hutchinson. Brett’s long experience, innate common sense and attention to detail have been carefully passed on as we begin our journey as the next generation of Trug makers. Lunch will be in Takaka where you can visit many of the wonderful cafés here.
